Fundamentally, we are all here during limited time on earth to serve others. It was such an honor to be served Diwali sweets by the next mayor of our great city. It was a brilliant and sustainable move to use the leftover sweets at the end of Diwali by Maharaja Sweets to reduce food waste. The joy was palpable. Zohran was next to his mother, the famous movie director Mira Nair - whose movie Mississippi Masala, Monsoon Wedding and Namesake. Also met Kal Penn, who stars in Namesake and is famous for Harold and Kumar Goes to White Castle, House MD and Communications director of the Obama White House. What a memorable Diwali 2025 during the weekend of his birthday as well. A memory to cherish.
