One of the incredible phenomena in astronomy is the Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights). This week there were one of the strongest Solar Storms (Highest Category G5 that led to Northern Lights at some very low latitudes). NBC Posted Photos that were crowdsourced from NYC area!

If you want to track the probability of witnessing the Northern Lights, this is a helpful tracker from NOAA.
At least you didn't have to go all the way to Iceland to witness it like we did back in February 2017.
