Yahoo creates a new browser experience with AXIS

Yahoo tries to mimic Apple and Google in the demo and the design for the website axis.yahoo.com. Whether or not the app is ultimately a success, it is great to see Yahoo trying something different for a change. The visual effects within the ad is definitely commendable. Now that Chrome recently took over IE as the most used browser, it would be interesting to see the Axis extension within Chrome.

Update: Not too impressed. The extension is like an annoying pop-up :/
