The article makes a good argument that parents play a crucial role in the education of a child. Simply putting the whole burden of educating a child on the teacher ignores the important role that parents can play in the education of the child. As teachers, we need to engage and educate the parents to accomplish the academic success of the child. We also need to stop pointing fingers at the teachers alone and recognize that "better parents can make every teacher more effective."
