Tech gadgets: Online voicemail service for your phone from YouMail

This is an excellent FREE alternative to Google Voice. YouMail has a feature called Smart Greeting, which recognizes who is calling and can play messages for them if you would like. There is an iPhone App for youmail as well. I like the fact that it emails you an Mp3 of the voicemail, so even if your phone runs out of battery, you can get the voicemail through your email. One of the shortcoming is that you have to pay a monthly fee for the transcript service that google voice offers for free. I use it and would definitely recommend it :) If course it does not give you a free number like google voice does.
